Modern Maid Range repair
Our Modern Maid Range might have outlived any of our other appliances which was the reason why we loved our Modern Maid Range so much. Its burners our good and the oven heats up quickly and evenly every time we cook on it. We got depressed one day when suddenly the 2 right burners stopped igniting and the oven wasn’t turning on. My husband and I talked it over and we decided to try and still have it repaired even though it should be replaced due to old age.
We called my mom who also had a Modern Maid Stove top and asked who she called for the Modern Maid Range repair of their Modern Maid stovetop before and gave us the contact number of Magic Touch appliance Repair. We called them up and they had a technician over within the next hour. Our appliance technician named Jerry came and he said he was the same technician that worked on my mom’s Modern Maid stovetop and quickly checked on our Modern Maid range. He said that the reason why the burner was not igniting and oven not turning on was because the control board was already fried. A few minutes later he calls someone and we found out it was their supplier and informed us that the parts are available and he can pick it up and be back within an hour if we approved the repairs. He gave the estimated cost, which was quit affordable given that he was already doing the repairs a few hours after we called and have parts for replacement. We gave the go signal so he went ahead to get the control board from their supply store and was back in 45 minutes or so.
He went ahead and replaced the broken board and in less than an hour, replaced the board and changed some wires also that were already showing old age. We tested the Modern Maid Range and the stove and both were working properly.
