Our 6-yr old Sub Zero freezer had a problem and would sort of work, keeping most foods frozen, but would not freeze ice cream hard and would not make any Ice. I also noticed one time that there was a strange puddle of water in the middle of our kitchen floor.
I called Magic Touch appliance Repair since they were the ones that fixed my Bosch Oven before and was happy that the same appliance technician named Alex who serviced our appliance before will be dropping by the same afternoon. Alex arrived that afternoon and immediately diagnosed the trouble: a broken freezer fan. (In the worst case, the motherboard might be defective too… we hoped not.) He gave us a quote for the Subzero Refrigerator repair and luckily he has the part that he needs for the sub zero repair. He expertly took apart our sub zero freezer, defrosted everything, replaced the fan motor, tested it, put everything back together, and even cleaned up. It took about two hours, but the sub zero freezer was fixed, and now it works like brand-new. I didn’t have cash that day and was relieved they accept Credit Card payments so everything was a breeze and they even emailed me the receipt for the Credit Card charge that they processed.
I would definitely call Magic Touch refigerator repair and Alex again if we have any other problems with our appliances.
